Chris Ellis is Chief Financial Officer for Northeast Retirement Services (NRS) and its subsidiary Global Trust Company (GTC). He is responsible for GTC accounting and finance, human resources, and facilities functions with a focus on growth and process improvement.

A senior finance executive with demonstrated success across a wide range of technology organizations, Chris brings more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience in senior leadership roles across a wide range of businesses and public companies. He is also well versed in corporate transactions including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and raising capital.

Prior to joining GTC, Chris held leadership positions in public accounting and in finance administration at a number of firms including iMakeNews and Engage.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bentley University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Chris lives and works out of the Boston area.
