Tim Smith

Tim Smith is the Chief Trust Officer for Global Trust Company-GTC. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Tim is responsible for the fiduciary and fund administration oversight of our collective investment trusts and LLCs. 

Prior to joining GTC in 2017, Tim was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) where his focus was on the financial statement audits of private funds (common and collective, hedge, venture, private equity) and public funds (’40 Act mutual funds).  

Tim received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University in 2003. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Tim lives and works out of the Boston area.
